French Chambres d’Hôtes is different from the English Bed & Breakfast where you just hire a room, breakfast is provided and you leave by a particular time.
Staying at a Chambres d’Hôtes, you are a paying guest of the hosts and is much more informal and friendly.
With us, there are no additional charges for the extras, like teas and coffees or a cold beer or glass of Kia on the terrace on arrival.
We have a reputation for our breakfast. A generous selection of locally sourced meats, cheeses, home-made conserves, pastries and fruits, served at a time to suit you. English breakfast can be cooked on request. (Surprisingly, this is requested more by our European guests)
You are provided with a house key and welcome to come and go as you please.
Guests are offered a superb evening meal of regional cuisine, including a bottle of wine for two. See below for a typical menu.
Warm summer evenings may be enjoyed with a barbecue in the garden. Picnic hamper lunches are available on request.
Special dietary needs (Gluten Free, Coeliac, Vegetarian etc) catered for by arrangement. Please let us know at time of booking as we are eager to give you a dinner you will enjoy!
Dinner is shared at the large dining table with other guests and us. Lively conversations have lasted well into the night! We also find this is a good opportunity to discuss what you want from your stay and advise on days out to visit the many attractions.
