Summer has really arrived now, the days are long and hot. Everything in our garden is looking it’s best. This years brood of Swallows are learning their wonderful art of flying.
This is the time when all the French villages have their summer fetes. Everything from flower shows and animal competitions to tractor parades, where you can’t see the old workhorses for smoke!

Thank you for your hospitality, the weather was not as good as we would like but your famous dinner was excellent.

Just wanted to send you a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay with you. We had a really good time on our first house hunting trip, much of it down to you two good people (and your good food!!). We had such fun with the dogs too!!

Thanks for making us so welcome - it was like a 'home from home' and the food was good. You live in a lovely area and we hope to come back one day as there is so much more to see. Love to Bob and Toby and to you.

Just a brief note to say how much we both enjoyed our stay with you.
It was really great and we appreciate how much you made us feel really welcome and at home.
Also a special thank you to Patsy for the lengths she went to coping with our Veggie diet.

Allan and Sue Ryan UK - Memories
To wake in the early morning and follow the fragrance of toasted croissant filled with cheese and bacon, walk into a cosy kitchen to sip coffee and chat with Toby and Bobby (the dogs) is a civilised way to start the day. An evening barbi, in low light and candles, mellow wine and rough bread, with whispers of life adventure is a civilised way to finish it. See you Guys end of March or early April.

Think we were amongst Patsy & Steve's first guests, when we stayed with them last year. We had a most enjoyable stay including a wonderful dinner prepared by Patsy. Mmmmm... great tasty memories of a delicious repast/feast. Breakfast was yummy too.
We are pleased to give them top marks as Innkeepers and they come highly recommended.

Steve & Patsy made us and our children feel very welcome. Our room was plenty big enough for us to fit baby Harry's cot in and Charlie's room was lovely too. Patsy provides a superb choice of breakfast which catered for all of our needs. They also provide a very child friendly environment, Charlie even collected his own freshly laid eggs for breakfast from the chickens, which he loved - and this makes for a very relaxing stay for us!

Jan en Emke Naaykens (Netherlands) - Best small hotel in the region......
Since we found our own "second" home in the neighbourhood of Patsy and Steve's house, we stayed several days and nights at their beautiful "small hotel" to make all arrangements. And we will do in future, if only it will be for the delicious meals with wine and the nice and cosy atmosphere with the hosts, which became our friends.
We do (and already did) recommend Patsy and Steve's to our Dutch (motorcycle) friends.

Whatever you speak English or French, do not hesitate to have a rest in that charming "Maison d'hôte".
Patsy and Steve are guests that you will never forget....
